Top Note Die Box - Gobble Gobble

Hi there, just a quick post...  I want to share a fun box I created using two tutorials.  This box tutorial can be found here.  After I created my box, I then used my top note die and made to matching pieces for the top of my box.  Once those two pieces were cut out, I stamped on some leaves and then inked up the sides using some brown ink - close to cocoa.  To complete my box I found this adorable turkey tutorial from Chic' n Scratch Live.  Both of these projects are a must & I hope you are inspired as well.

Please stop by Thursday, I will announce the winner of my card giveway and share a Christmas project. Ho Ho Ho

Our Creative Corner Challenge - Masculine Card/Project

Happy Saturday!  Before I tell you about my samples, I have a little giveway going on, click here if you would like to enter.

Today's cards are for this weeks challenge over at Our Creative Corner.  Our November host has challenged us to create a masculine card/project.  Everyone is warmly invited to play along.

For my first card, I followed a fun tutorial on Dawn's Blog.  The following colors were used:  Chocolate chip, crumb cake and baja breeze/DSP.  Supplies:  Top note die, ribbon, scallop punch, word window punch, little leaves sizzlit die.

Since I don't really feel comfortable making masculine cards, I really stepped out of my comfort zone and just did something really simple.  I hope you enjoyed today's samples, don't forget to stop over and see the other designs by the OCC DT.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Top Note Gift Card Holder & Giveaway

Today's card was inspired by a tutorial I saw on Dawn's Blog.  I was SO inspired by the video that I just had to create something special.  For my design, I started by using some designer paper by October Afternoon (this paper was purchased last year).  Since the paper is double-sided I was able to create a design that coordinated together.

The top note fold opens to add a gift card or even cash.

This card is super easy to make and makes a great gift card/money holder.  If you are inspired by today's card/project please leave me a message - One lucky will win the card and a few goodies from my stamp room.  Don't forget to stop by Dawn's Blog for more video tutorials.
