Hello & Thanks for stopping by...
This box of goodies is something I have been working on all day. I made it for a close on-line friend of mine who is expecting her first baby and its a "Boy". I filled it with a few homemade goodies PLUS some white stickers so she can personalize it when the baby is born.

The box measures 8 x 8

Directions: Take a piece of 12 x 12 cardstock. Score all sides 2", Cut and fold in to form the box. For extra support, I added a heavy piece of cardstock to the bottom & top of the box.

Here is a picture of the goodies inside the box. Starting from the top left: Baby's Firsts journal Top right: Mommy's Little Brag Book Bottom: Baby Onesie

Baby Onesie Directions/Supplies:
Supplies - Baby Onesie, Staz-on ink, Fabric, Heat n Bond (Walmart)

Instructions - Stamp you image on the onesie (Place a place a piece of cardstock under the shirt before inking on the onesie). Take your fabric and iron it on the Heat & Bond. Stamp your image on the bonded fabric and cut out. Pull off the backing and iron it on the onesie.

I will post detailed pictures of the Brag book after I know she has gotten the package, I want there to be a few suprises just in case she visits my Blog! :)

Hope my Blog is fixed by tomorrow, I really appreciate the emails about my side links not working. Thanks for letting me know, I am in the process of trying to fix it now. :)

Songs From The Narnia Movies...

Denny & I went and saw the second part of Narnia called "Prince Caspian". I heard this song at the credits and I am hooked. I just had to share. :) The other song is called "The Narnia Lullaby" which is another favorite of mine.

The Call:

It started out as a feeling Which then grew into a hope Which then turned into a quiet thought Which then turned into a quiet word And then that word grew louder and louder 'Til it was a battle cry I'll come back When you call me No need to say goodbye Just because everything's changing Doesn't mean it's never been this way before All you can do is try to know who your friends are As you head off to the war Pick a star on the dark horizon And follow the light You'll come back when it's over No need to say goodbye You'll come back when it's over No need to say goodbye Now we're back to the beginning It's just a feeling and no one knows yet But just because they can't feel it too Doesn't mean that you have to forget Let your memories grow stronger and stronger 'Til they're before your eyes You'll cone back When they call you No need to say goodbye You'll come back When they call you No need to say goodbye

Jennifer :)

IC128 Polka Dot Birthday...

Todays card is for the Inspiration Challenge "IC128" over at Splitcoast. Todays inspiration was suggested by Smitty2004. She found these beautiful candles called En Fleur candles. While looking through the Papyrus store, I noticed these fun polka dot candles. So my inspiration & card came from these super fun polka dot candles. What do you think?

Here are the directions:

Cut 3 pieces of colored cardstock 2 2/10 x 4 1/8.

Score the piece of cardstock longways at both ends at 1/2".

Important - Fold all scored lines before running it through your Cuttlebug. Cut out the opening with your 1/2" circle punch. If you want to add a little texture, you can run it through your cuttlebug.

Add adhesive on the back of the folded scored pieces.

Add the cardstock panels to your card. Cut out 3 pieces of white cardstock 1 1/2 x 4 " add an eyelet & ribbon.

The card layouts are pretty simple. The paper is so pretty that I did not want to cover it up with a ton of embellishments and layers.

I used the Blooming with Love stamp set and added a prima flower with a tiny pearl inside the flower. So what do you think?...
