Easter Basket Tutorial

Hello and thanks for stopping by!! I created this Easter basket using some scraps I had laying around. Not only was this basket fun to make but it was super easy too!! The patterned paper is from the Delightful Girls collection found at Cut At Home. The first step is determine how big you want your basket. Here is how I made mine... I cut a 7.5" square and scored it at 2.5" on all four sides. Cut the two center rows to the center and add your adhesive on the inside middle flaps.
Since I wanted my basket to have a little fun detail, I glued my basket together as soon as the outside pieces touched at the top. Repeat on the other side.

Create a handle, mine measures 2" by 7". Add adhesive and add the handle to the inside of the basket.

Pictured above you can see I added some fun ovals on the outside of my basket using my oval Nestabilities from Cut At Home. Once my box was complete, I crimped some paper and cut it into strips. The strips were then scrunched up and added to my basket. If you decided to make one of these baskets, I would LOVE to see it!! Post a link here so I can check it out.
Please stop by tomorrow, I will be posting my sample for the OCC! Have a wonderful weekend!!
