ULAS Let It Snow

Here is a fun card I did for the Up Late & Stamping gallery. The challenge was to create a scene using your favorite snowman. I just LOVE this set "Jolliest Time of The Year".

For my scene, I stamped the snowman and masked some of the tree's behind and around him so they would overlap. I colored everything in with colored pencils and spondged on the sky. They snow was created using the liquid applique and heated to puff. The bottom of the card is just ripped cardstock and layered. I sponged on some brocade blue to add debth.
Here is are some other examples:

ULAS Tis The Season...

I made this for the Up Late & Stamping Challenge . Diane was the host for this challenge and she picked something to alter. I decided to alter a wooden photo frame I got at Michael's for a $1. If you would like to play along, please post it in the ULAS gallery and put "ULAS" in the keywords.

Directions: Cut pieces of paper and embellishments and arrange on Frame. Clear the frame and cover it with mod podge (matte). Arrange the pieces of paper and let try. Arrange embellishments, cover with more mod podge. ***The mod podge is waterbased and will try clear so coat everything really good!

WT136 Joy...

Here is a fun project I did for the Ways To Use It challenge WT136 on SCS. I got these blocks from Hobby Lobby and they come in a package of 6 for $2.99. They measure 1 1/2".
I first sanded the blocks clean and painted a coat of white Acrylic paint on them. I punched out 3 colors of DP paper of choice. The blocks were covered with mod podge and the DP paper covered each open square. (let dry). With my sander, I sanded each side. The rub-ons were used to spell out "Joy" and all squares were sealed with another coat of mod podge (matte finish).
Have a great weekend and I hope to get more stamping in, Jennifer :)
