Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge

Today’s card is for this week’s challenge over at Our Creative Corner. This week I have challenged the OCC & our readers to a sketch challenge. We warmly invite you to play along, please use your favorite stamps and supplies.

For my design, I used some products from Stampin' Up! The stamp set is called Thoughts and Prayers. The beautiful background paper is also from Stampin' Up! called Parisian Breeze Specialty. Using my Fiskers punch, I added a border on both sides of the background layer and then placed my sentiment on top. Ribbon and flowers were added along with a pearl in the center of each flower. Clean and simple!!

For my design I used the sets from by Stamps and Smiles called Hello Spring. Cuppy is stamped in memento ink and colored in using my Copics. Do you like the floral paper? It's from My Mind's Eye called Delightful Girls. To finish off my card, I added some fun sparkle on the whip and a couple felt buttons from Stampin' Up!

Stamps and Smiles Project Tuesday - One Sheet Box

Hello and thanks for stopping by!! Before I start with my post, I have to apologize for being so quiet the last few days. For those that follow my blog, we had some pretty bad storms come in Friday night. Unfortunately the storms wiped out our power and internet. Luckily our power returned on Saturday morning along with our internet but after an hour or so, the internet was back out until late last night. I have a ton of emails to return, orders to fill and comments to get too. Please know, I will get to you all and I am SO sorry for the delay the last few days!!

So, today's post is for for this week’s challenge over at Stamps and Smiles Project Tuesday. Every Tuesday a NEW Project Challenge along with samples will be posted, we warmly invite you to play along or just be inspired!!

No Power for 15 hours...

Hello Everyone :) Just an update: We experienced bad storms all day yesterday in Northern Illinois. The storms had gotten so bad we lost power for 15 hours and boy was it hot & humid!! Since I am playing catch up on a ton of things, I will be posting my OCC card a little later today!

I hope you all enjoy your weekend and have a very special Father's Day with all those dads out there!

Stamps and Smiles/Project Tuesday - Tea Bag Holder

Hello everyone & thanks for stopping by!! It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for Project Tuesday over at the Stamps and Smiles blog. As some of you know, each Tuesday a NEW project challenge is posted, we warmly invite you to play along.

Most of our projects only take a few minutes to create, grab you favorite stamps and supplies and join us each week!! Last week we created a fun origami box, this week, we are creating a tea bag holder. Please stop by Project Tuesday to play along and see the fun samples using this fun technique.

For my project I used the Cuppy Love stamp set by Stamps and Smiles. The paper and supplies are from Stampin' Up! I inked up my stamps using Memento ink and colored the images in using my Copics. To add a little extra detail to the whip, I added some chucky glitter by Martha Stewart

Our Creative Corner - Border Punch Challenge

Hello and thanks for stopping by!! Today’s card is for this week’s challenge over at Our Creative Corner. This week I have challenged the OCC & our readers to create a card/project using border punches. We warmly invite you to play along, use your favorite stamps and supplies.

For my design, I used the stamp set from Stamps and Smiles called Hello Spring. Cuppy was stamped with memento ink and colored in using my Copics. The fun beach scene was created using a few of the EK Success punches - beach edger, crab and star fish. The edges of the card and embellishments was sponged with a brown ink and spritzed with a marker to make the beach scene pop.

For my design I used the sets from by Stamps and Smiles called Hello Spring and Cuppyland. The images were stamped in memento ink and colored in using my Copics. Since there were so many fun layers with Mercy's sketch this week, I grabbed for more of my Twitterpated paper by Imaginisce. I LOVE this paper and I only have a tiny pit left! For a little extra fun on my card, I colored up some yummy lollipops and sprinkled them with the chunky glitter by Martha Stewart.

Stamps and Smiles - Project Tuesday

Happy Tuesday and thanks for stopping by! Today's project is for this week’s challenge over at Stamps and Smiles - Project Tuesday. This week our June host Jenn McMillan has challenged us to create a origami box. Every Tuesday we post a NEW project challenge, we warmly invite you to play along.

For my origami box, I turned mine upside down so it could hold the punched out candles using the NEW punch by EK Success. The circles were created using my Circle Nestabilities from Cut At Home. I reached for my Carl the Cupcake stamp set by Stamps and Smiles. I was thinking about adding a little glitter to the balloons but then I thought it needed something a little more so I grabbed the background image from the stamp set You Warm My heart.

This really was a quick and easy project to create in just a few minutes. We hope you will stop by Project Tuesday and view the fun samples and play along.

OCC - Sketch Challenge

Happy Saturday and thanks for stopping by! Today’s card is for this week’s challenge over at Our Creative Corner. For the month of June I will be the hostess over at Our Creative Corner. This week, I have created a fun sketch challenge. We warmly invite you to play along, use your favorite stamps and supplies.

For my design, I used the stamp set from Stamps and Smiles called Cuppyland. After coloring up the images, I cut them all out and added some fun chunky glitter by Martha Stewart. For a little extra fun, I created a piece of wrapped candy from the lollipop to give it a little extra detail.
