Our Creative Corner - Case an OCC Girl & Giveaway

Thanks for stopping by, today's card is for this week's challenge over at Our Creative Corner. Our June host, Linda Coughlin, has challenged the OCC girls to case each other. I decided to case a yummy card that Wendy Janson designed.

OCC Sketch Challenge - OCCSC20 - Sweet Baby

Hello & thanks for stopping by today! Can you believe I posted?!?! Between my busy summer schedule with my kids and my next stamp release, I was able to squeeze out a card for this week's sketch challenge OCCSC20 over at the OCC Sketch Blog . We warmly invite you to play along, feel free to use your favorite stamps and supplies!! For my sample, I am using a brand NEW image from Stamps and Smiles called Sweet Baby. This image will be available to purchase this Friday, June 18th over at the Stamps and Smiles store.

On my layout I used some NEW paper called Songbird. I wanted to add some stitching to my card but for what ever reason, my Janome sewing machine has been giving me issues. Every time I try to sew with it, it keeps getting jammed up... GRRRR!! The stitching would of completed my card overall I am happy with it! Note... off to get a NEW sewing machine soon!!

Our Creative Corner Challenge

Happy Saturday and thanks for stopping by! Since I have been super busy, I still wanted to post a little something for today's challenge over at Our Creative Corner. Our June host, Linda Coughlin, has challenged the OCC to create a card or project complimenting the corners. Since I have little time to play, I am posting a fun summer card I created last year. We warmly invite you to play along, feel free to use your favorite supplies.

For my design I used a stamp set from Stamps and Smiles called Hello Spring. The images were stamped in memento ink and colored in using my Copics. The paper is from Imaginisce called Twitterpated. Since I LOVE sparkle, I added chunky glitter by Martha Stewart to the whip of Cuppy, Flowers and the wings on the bee.

Our Creative Corner - Summer Challenge

I know its been a while since I have posted but with the kids being out of school, can you believe I have been busier then normal? I thought I would have more time to relax but between Nick & Brittney wanting to drive and Jake & Hannah tearing the house apart, I have NO time for myself & crafting!! Now that I am back from A-Ha's farewell concert tour, I am playing catch up!

To start things off, I created a card for this week's challenge over at Our Creative Corner. Our June host, Linda Coughlin, has challenged the OCC to a summer challenge. When I think of summer, I think of juicy hamburgers. My punched out hamburger idea came off a video from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. In Dawn's tutorial she created a single burger but I just added an extra patty, bun and sides. We warmly invite you to play along, feel free to use your favorite supplies.
