Anni-Verve-sary Challenge #5

Happy Friday & boy am I happy!!!
Yesterday morning my daughter woke up with a pain in her right side. Well after a while, it got worse so I made a appointment with her pediatrician. After they looked her over, they told me that Brittney has all of the signs of an appendicitis and sent us to the emergency room.

After 5 1/2 hours of tests, everything came back normal. So I am happy that I am not spending
my Friday at the hospital!! :)

I would like to share another card I made for Verve's Anni-Verve-sary challenge. My card is for Sketch Challenge #5 and there will be 12 challenges in all. Since I just got the NEW Bella Rose paper, ALL 12 of my cards will be done using the NEW Stampin' Up! In-Colors and that GORGEOUS Bella Rose designer paper.

I have another fun post for all of you later this afternoon PLUS a fun giveaway!! :)

Hope you can stop by,

Fun Samples - NEW Cuttlebug Holiday Folders

Happy Wednesday!
Here are a couple of Halloween card/project I put together using the NEW Cuttlebug embossing folders. Cut At Home has all of the NEW Cuttlebug folders in stock, click on this link to view all of them.

My card cover was made using Julee's Anni-Verve-sary sketch #2. This card is a fun Tic Tac Toe game. When you open the the card it has two pockets, one side holds the game boards and the other pocket holds the spooky halloween coins.
These fun halloween circles were made using the Boo To You embossing folder. I embossed a piece of Black, Basic Grey, White & Pumpkin Pie cardstock and then used my circle punch from Stampin' Up! and punched them all out. To add a little spooky affect, I sponged on some white ink.
For this card, I embossed the main background using the Spiderweb embossing folder. For a soft white glow, I sponged on some white ink. This was a quick and easy card to make and that is what I LOVE about the Cuttlebug embossing folders! You can create a card with very little supplies & time!

Hope all of you are enjoying your week, please stop by tomorrow for some more samples and a giveaway!

Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge

Happy Saturday! :)
Today's card is for a Sketch Challenge over at Our Creative Corner. Our host for the month of August is Dawn Easton. We have a special guest designer, please pop over to see who it is?! :)

For my card, I used some of the NEW in-colors by Stampin' Up! The base of my card is Riding Hood Red, layered with Pink Pirouette and then I used some of the NEW designer series paper called "Bella Rose", which you absolutely going to LOVE!!! :)

Now for that super cute image on my card... A couple of weeks ago I got Copic Certified at the Rosemont Convention Center. Well, a few of the ladies brought a punch of really cute stamps and silly me stamped some of the images but forgot to write down who made the stamps?! This one is called Dust Bunny Collector by Whipper Snapper. isn't she adorable!!! :)

The image was colored in using my Copic markers and for a a little sparkle, I used the clear spica pen. Since there was some cute stitching on the little outfit, I added some onto the layers and decorative paper. To finish off the card, I added the sentiment along with a couple of prima flowers..

***If you leave me a comment, I will pick one lucky winner to receive some of the NEW in-color paper from Stampin' Up! I will announce the winner next Saturday, August 9th.

Our Creative Corner would LOVE it if you played along, if you download your cards to Splitcoast, please remember to add OCCC in the keywords.

Before you go, I would like to announce the winners for the card giveaway!
Congratulations Cindy Haffner from Cindy Haffner's Corner & Cynde. Please email me your address and I will get your cards out to you. jdmeyer6@sbcglobal.net
