Cuttlebug Challenge #3 - Spooky Halloween Box

Happy Wednesday & thanks for stopping by Jennifer's Sweet Designs! Before I start with my post, I just wanted to update some of you that emailed me and posted about Hannah! She is doing much better, it looks like she has a start of a cold. I am hoping she gets over it as fast as it came! Thanks again for asking about her and keeping her close to your hearts! :)

Today's fun project is for this week's Cuttlebug Challenge. The challenge is to use your Cuttlebug on something else but a card. Since its just a couple week's until Halloween, I wanted to make good use out of my NEW Halloween Dies from Sizzix.

For my design, I created this fun Halloween box to store some extra pieces using my Sizzix dies. This way I don't have to cut each & every time I need a NEW piece. I even added dividers in my box, the idea came from Nichole Heady's Blog. You can find the divider tutorial here.

Directions for box: Cut a piece of cardstock 8 x 8. Score all four sides at 1 1/2". Fold, cut and glue in the corners. {I use sticky tape when I make my boxes} For the lid, Cut a piece of 8 x 8 paper. Glue a piece of 8 x 8 decorative paper over the top & let dry. Score at 1 3/8 on all four sides. Fold, cut and glue in the corners. Decorate the top of box.

Thanks again for stopping by! Tomorrow I will post a card/project for a fun challenge by Mothers & Daughters Creations.

Have a wonderful day,

This is such a great idea Jennifer! It'd be a fun little gift box to give too for page kit or mini album kit.
