Happy Saturday & thanks for stopping by Jennifer's Sweet Designs!! Today's card is for a fun challenge over at Our Creative Corner!! Our November host over at Our Creative Corner is Denise Marzec. For Denise's first challenge, its All About the Coloring. Show us your favorite way to color...copics, watercoloring, gamsol magic, etc....or just pull your favorite image that you enjoy coloring and have some fun!!For my design, I picked watercoloring. Not to take away from this adorable snowman image, I used a VERY simple layout. The background is embossed using my Cuttlebug snowflake folder from Cut At Home. The image was stamped on watercolor paper in black staz-on ink.
All about the coloring, I went with watercoloring... I pinched the Stampin' Up! ink pads while closed so the inside lid picks up the ink. Once the ink pads are opened, you leave them open half way so you can get to the lid. Pick up the ink using your aqua painters or blender pens and VIOLA... you can watercolor!! If you have reinkers, you can add the ink to the lid and pick up the ink the same way.
My snowman image is one of my favorite images and it was so much fun to watercolor!! You can find him at the Mothers & Daughters Creations Store. The stamp is called Snowman With Birdhouse and its by Serendipity.

Fabulous card Jennifer. That snowman looks so REAL! Love the way you've colored him, it's so natural looking. The effect is amazing. The puffy stuff is a great detail too. Fabulous!
