Hello and thanks for stopping by! Update on Hannah… first I would like to thank all those that stopped by and left a get well message - it means a lot!! We took her to the doctors on Thursday and she tested positive for the H1N1. If you could, please our keep our family in your prayers.
My sample today is for this weeks challenge over at Our Creative Corner. I challenged the OCC to a color challenge -chocolate chip, close to cocoa, pumpkin pie and a neutral. We warmly invite you to play along, feel fee to use your favorite stamps and supplies.
I used a NEW digi image from the Stamps and Smiles store called - Happy Thanksgiving. I printed it twice on kraft cardstock and then used my pumpkin Nestabilities to create the giant pumpkin. I colored the turkey in using my colored pencils. For extra fun, I layered the wing. Ink was then sponged on to give it a warm glow. The background was stitched using my Janome sewing machine and I also added a border using my "Thanks" border punch by Martha Stewart.
Please stop by the OCC to see the other samples by the amazing OCC designers. Have a wonderful weekend!
