We are starting a NEW month over at the OCC, which means we have a NEW hostess, Linda Coughlin. This week Linda has challenged the OCC to a masculine Valentine card/project. The challenge is to create a card/project for the men in our lives, a significant other, Dad, Brother or friend. We can’t wait to see where your inspiration will take you this week!!
Nothing fancy but I created this for my DH. For the colors, I used Kraft, white, close to cocoa and real red. The background was stamped using the block stamp from SU and then I embossed it using my Scor-Pal. The heart was added using my heart Nestabilities and tag. To finish off my card, I added the cord and four hearts for our four children. I can not tell you how nice it was to create a card in less then 10 minutes.
Before I go, I have to share with all of you that I got my tickets for the A-Ha concerts in NY this May. I am SO excited to see them in concert and hopefully I will even get my picture taken with Morten!! As of right now, they only have 4 concerts scheduled, two in NY & two in CA - I consider myself to be VERY lucky that I got my tickets!! Have a wonderful weekend!

Sweet card, Jennifer. I LOVE the colors you chose. The scoring and the 4 hearts really make it special and 10 minutes??? I'm jealous, I don't think I have ever completed a card in less than an hour!! I did this week's OCC card in 3 hours and that is a record lately - I was flying through it!
Hope you're having a great weekend.
Hugs,
Linda
This is really wonderful, Jennifer. I love the scored and stamped background, and your personal touches just make it perfect!
Jennifer, that background is wonderful! Terrific card.
Love the background stamp and the embossing, Jennifer! The white around the heart really shows off the heart and "I love you" tag. Great job! Have a great weekend!
