Halloween Tag & Giveaway

Happy Halloween!! Thanks for stopping by!! This is going to be a quick post... I created this fun tag using my NEW Label 1 Nestabilities from Cut At Home. To decorate my Halloween tag, I added a ghost & pumpkin from Sizzix. The ghost was embossed using my DVine Swirls embossing folder. For the extra detail on the pumpkin, I whipped out my Martha Stewart branch punch and added a twine bow.

Got a funny story to share on Halloween... if so, you will be entered to win this tag along with some fun ribbon. I will announce a winner on Sunday, November 2nd.

Don't forget... you have one more day to use your October coupon for Cut At Home. They have all of the NEW Nestabilities in stock!!

Have a safe & happy Halloween!

Hmmm funny? Not really. But when I was in high school my friends and I dressed up as four of the care bears. We made cloud cars and everything!!

OMG! That tag of your is soooo cute! My funny story is my dad would run out of candy and would still have kids coming to the door. So he would decide to clear out our pantry of stuff he just didn't like or want anymore. So one kid got a can of beets, one kid got oatmeal packets, saurkraut, can of lima beans. He would put his hand in the bag and not show the kid what he was putting in their bag. I swear he almost peed his pants after those kids left!!!! He was laughing soo hard!

Jen your tag is adorable! I am going to have to get this nestie...it's adorable! The only funny Halloween story i can think of is when I was 10 or 12 years old I wanted to be a punk rocker! So I had the totally 80s look going on....awesome 80s clothes, big hair...blue lipstick and lots of PINK (wash out) hair color...only the pink hair color didn't wash out for a least a week later! (not so cool!) ha ha!

Last night I was handing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters. This one cute little guy comes up to the door dressed up as a vampire. He walked straight up to me and said, "How many?!" Just cut to the chase, no "hi" or "trick or treat"!

Love that tag!!! I have been saving up my pennies for that set of nesties!
Funny Halloween story? Well not as funny as the poster above who told us about her dad handing out beets and sauerkraut- OMG I just about peed my pants! But last night a sweet little fairy princess said "Hi puppy" to my dog who had answered the door behind me. I looked at her and said that I didn't have a dog. THat it was my cat dressed up like a dog- her eyes bugged out of her head, and she turned and left. I could hear her parents laughing from the sidewalk....

My funny story...an older lady in our neighborhood was siting at her door handing out candy...my 4 year old daughter Matty looks at the candy and says "we can't eat hard candy!" I about bust a gut and told her to just take it and mommy and Daddy could eat it at home....My daughter knows the rules! deidrelm@hotmail.com

sorry i hit the 'enter' button before i put in the story - this is sort of a sad story, but also funny in a way - at school we have a halloween parade every year and it's a huge big deal. my youngest would plan her costume and be totally set for the festivities, until she got to school. the first costume she saw on campus would be what she now wanted to be dressed as, so more than one year we spent the parade time in my room with her crying because she was an elephant and she really really wanted to be a scarecrow, etc...she is now over that, but can still get a little anxious thinking that her friends haven't dressed up and she's the only one in costume...oh, the worries of a pre-teen :)

What an adorable tag!! You are SO talented! I really love your blog.
I don't think we can beat the above story about the dad handing out canned goods! LOL! A couple of years ago my son was Lightening McQueen for Halloween. We had been walking the neighborhood for quite awhile and he was getting tired. He started slowing down and finally plopped down in someone's yard and said, "I ran out of gas." LOL He was totally serious!

I JUST got my Labels I set from cut@home yesterday; haven't even opened it up yet but hope to today. Isn't it yummy??? Halloween story? My brother was born on Halloween [poor guy] and, as sisters are cruel, we called him 'Hollow Weinie' when he was young. AND, oh my, he's never had children [now age 61] so maybe the nickname stuck.

Happy Saturday! Your talent never ceases to amaze me. I especially like the realistic touch you added to the stem of the pumpkin! It adds a primitive touch that I really like. Please enter me in your fun tag giveaway. Many thanks, Cindi

Very cute tag! My funny story is the year my sister and I dressed up the kids as a group. Every house we went to the people would comment - "oh look! It's Captain Hook, Wendy, Tinker Bell and Robin Hood!" Nobody got it that my youngest son was supposed to be PETER PAN!!!! I was so tired of saying," UM, NO he's Peter Pan to go with the rest of the group . . ." Pretty funny.
