Hannah in the Hospital...

Just wanted to say thank you for ALL of your sweet comments and emails, it really means a lot!!! Hannah got really bad Sunday morning so we took her to the ER. They immediately started an IV and drew blood to check to see how dehydrated she was. It was pretty bad, as much as I pushed fluids it still was not enough. We went from this to this...
Hannah was admitted and she stayed overnight. Since she got the IV and some medicine for her tummy, she was much better today and we got to come home. Hannah is gettting better with every hour and pretty soon I will be taking pictures of her sweet little face smiling and playing again.

I will have some fun cards to post in the next day or two. Once Hannah is better, we are going back to the hospital with some cards and fun altered items for ALL of the nurses that took care of Hannah while she was sick!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Hello & Thanks for stopping by,
I have some sad news to share with all of you... I was working on some cards for the week when all of a sudden the phone rang, it was my dad calling to tell me that my older sister Janet is going in for surgery next Tuesday. (Their are 6 of us, Julie, Janet, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Jodi & Gus) While visiting the doctor for her normal yearly check up, they found a baseball size mass in her lower abdominal. The doctors aren't going to waste any time taking a biopsy, they are going to operate immediately. I will have more to share with you a week from tonight. If you could, please keep Janet in your prayers.

I created this card for today's Sketch Challenge "SC173". This card along with some goodies will be heading to my sister's tomorrow.

NEW Stamps From Cut At Home...

Just wanted to share some fun cards I designed for Cut At Home. I am using the NEW Bosskut clear stamps called Buggies. They come in 3 different styles and are super cute to use! If you like the stamps, Cut At Home also carries the Bosskut Buggy dies. Here are 3 samples to start with.

I left this card blank for a quick. The patterned paper is from DCWV called Nana's Nursery.

This is a pocket card with a pull out tag. I embossed the background using the Cuttlebug embossing folder Polka Dots.

The fun sentiments were created using my computer, I printed them on a sheet of whisper white cardstock. Just for a little fun detail, I added the polka dot ribbon from May Arts.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

Mojo #33 Fabulous Anniversary...

Hello and thanks for stopping by...

I created this card for Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch "Mojo #33". Julee creates a sketch every week so if you are looking for more sketch challenges, you will LOVE hers!!!
Today's card is for friends of ours. They will be celebrating their 20th Wedding Anniversary and since they got married down in Hawaii, I thought this paper was perfect for their card. I used the stamp set Anniversary Birds from Verve Visual, its one of my favorite! The patterned paper is from Stampin' Up! called Spring Break. Just to give the card a little more detail, I cut out some flowers from the paper and added them to the bottom right corner.
Tomorrow, I will be posting cards using stamps and paper from Mothers & Daughters Creations.
Thanks so much for stopping by and your sweet comments!

Big Brother 9 Clip... Natalie is Evicted...

Well some of you know I am a HUGE Big Brother fan! I am sad to see Natalie go only because Natalie gave Shelia HOH and told Natalie she was safe! WOW... NEVER give someone HOH, you are never safe and you can ONLY count on yourself!

So who is left in the BB house, Ryan who is now HOH, Adam, Sheila and Sharon (the mole). I can't believe that Ryan voted to keep Sharon over Natalie, in my opinon, NOT a very good move! So who do I think will win/who do I want to win?... Adam would be my choice!

If you are a Big Brother fan, watch for more posts on my Blog... Since there is only 2 weeks left, I will be posting or should I say venting more clips.

Thanks for stopping by and I would LOVE to hear from you...

SC171 Soft Hello's...

Happy Wednesday...

Today's card is for this week's Sketch Challenge "SC171". Lisa is this week's Guest Host for the Sketch Challenge and for such a simple sketch, there have been some pretty amazing cards.

For the sky background on my card, I punched out a scalloped circle. Starting at the bottom of the background piece, take the scalloped circle and sponge and wipe the ink upwards on both the circle and the white background piece.

I have a question for all of my blog friends. How are my pictures, are they brighter? I have been changing the exposure setting. You too can have brighter pictures, click on Gina K's Tutorial for more instructions.
