SC173 For My Sister Janet...

I have some sad news to share with all of you... I was working on some cards for the week when all of a sudden the phone rang, it was my dad calling to tell me that my older sister Janet is going in for surgery next Tuesday. (Their are 6 of us, Julie, Janet, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Jodi & Gus) While visiting the doctor for her normal yearly check up, they found a baseball size mass in her lower abdominal. The doctors aren't going to waste any time taking a biopsy, they are going to operate immediately. I will have more to share with you a week from tonight. If you could, please keep Janet in your prayers.

I created this card for today's Sketch Challenge "SC173". This card along with some goodies will be heading to my sister's tomorrow.

Sorry for not posting this weekend but my little guy has been sick with the stomach flu. The only good thing about him being sick is we got a ton of snuggle time in and our house actually stayed clean! LOL :)

FS61 Sprinkled With Fun...

Before going to bed, I noticed the Featured Stamper Challenge was up, so I quickly put together a card. Just between ALL of you and me, my stamp table is a huge mess so tomorrow I will be cleaning it and NOT stamping LOL! Gosh, so many challenges but NOT enough time to pick up, I know some of you are out there!!! Here is the card I chose to case, I LOVE this set from Hero Arts and I also LOVE this NEW paper from Basic Grey called "Cupcake". Since its late, I will post more details about my card sometime tomorrow.

SC157 Cherish...

Here is another card using this week's sketch SC157 over at Splitcoast. I just bought some of the NEW Basic Grey Two Scoops and had to play with it ASAP! LOVE the NEW paper and stamps, and can't wait to start using it! Check back soon for more cards using the NEW paper and stamps.
