Our Creative Corner Challenge ~ Chipboard

Happy Saturday! I would like to thank all who played in last week's sketch challenge on Our Creative Corner. This week's challenge is brought to us by our September host, Amy Sheffer. The challenge is to incorporate "chipboard" into your card/project. If you don't have chipboard, try punching shapes out of an empty cereal box or the cardboard backing of a notepad. There is no time limit on our challenges please feel free to participate whenever you are able. If you upload your cards to Splitcoast, please use "OCCC" in the keywords.

For my card, I used a chipboard snowflake from Stampin' Up! Since I could not find my white paint, I inked up the snowflake with versamark and added some white embossing powder to it. This technique worked like a charm and it was much easier then painting it and waiting for it to dry!

Do you like the fun paper on the card? I just got some of this NEW Imaginisce paper from Mothers & Daughters Creations and I LOVE it! The stamps are adorable and the paper is just so much fun to work with! To finish my card, I embossed the sentiment and frayed the ribbon.

If you would like to see some other fun samples, please visit Our Creative Corner.

Recipe ~ Stamps: Snowy Jo Jo - Imaginisce Paper: Bordering Blue, Whisper White, Snowy Jo Jo - Imaginisce Accessories: Circle Nestabilities - Cut At Home, Tags Nestabilities - Cut At Home, Ribbon, Snowflake Chipboard, White Embossing Powder.

Have a wonderful weekend!
