Project Tuesday - Pop-up Accordion Card

Hello & thanks for stopping by, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!! Today’s project is for this week’s challenge over at Stamps and Smiles - Project Tuesday. Every Tuesday a NEW Project Challenge along with samples will be posted, we warmly invite you to play along or just be inspired!!

Our challenge today is to create a pop-up accordion card. For step by step instructions, please click here. These cards are so much fun to create and really add a fun dimension to your card designs!!

As you can see from my samples below, I used both Happy Birthday Cupcake & Carl the Cupcake (sentiment) from Stamps and Smiles. I also added a ton of glitter, good thing I stocked up on it this past winter!! All the images were colored in using my Copics and for extra fun, more glitter was added to most of the embellishments on the card.

Here is a close-up of the three pop-ups inside the card. The two outside folds have presents and the one in the middle is holding a birthday cake. The cake is from Quickutz called Birthday Cake & Cupcake from Cut At Home.
Here is a close-up of the presents, I hope you can see by the picture all of the fun sparkle I have added with this chunky glitter by Martha Stewart.

Here is a picture of the inside of the card, I left room for a birthday message.

I hope after seeing the samples over at the Project Tuesday blog, you will be inspired to play along!! Feel free to use your favorite stamps and supplies. Please don't forget to check out our weekly sketch challenge over at Stamps and Smiles. Play along with us each week and you will have a chance to win an exclusive Stamps and Smiles goodie bag PLUS be our next Guest Design for Stamps and Smiles!!

Have a wonderful week!
